We got back into town from our CA trip late Thursday night, and the next morning Becky and her family were leaving Las Vegas after a short visit for Dan's UNLV orientation. We had to see them before they went back to Cedar City so we had a quick lunch at In and Out on their way out of town. It's always good to see them - if only for an hour and a half! Sunday, May 31, 2015. Ms Michaelsen's class had an award ceremony with all of the second graders. Claire was one of only two kids in her class to get Highest Honors. She also got The Super Reader award! Claire and Allan were buddies this year - they worked together a lot and were both in the 800 level for reading. Way to go Claire Bear! An advertising contact at the Las Vegas Review Journal called me yesterday and asked if I wanted four tickets to the Marvel Comics live action show at the Thomas and Mack. Well, maybe not for me - but for Matt and the kids, heck yes! The kids were in heaven! Claire came home and described all the yummy treats and how they had nice comfy seats with CUP HOLDERS! Monday, June 29, 2015. The whole family went out to a 51s baseball game and braved the heat for at least 6 innings before we headed home. I think we would go to more games if it wasn't so dang hot.
