These are simple "Snap Shots" of events and happenings in our life. Monday, March 19, 2012. Where has the time gone? Didn't realize it has been a few years since I last posted on this blog. I have lots to catch up on. We left Phoenix, Arizona in October of 2010, and relocated to Spokane Valley, Washington. It is GORGEOUS here! So much greenery. but next to the desert, I guess anything seems greener. This is a street in the historic neighborhood of Manito Park. Love all the color of the blossoms.

This is the entrance when for the school groups. Since I chaperoned, (and there were several parents who did),. Collin and Rogan paled around together. A zoo just isn't a zoo without certain animals. Or a Ring-Tailed Lemur sunning itself. A veerrryyyy tall giraffe. Two uncaged wild imps (with attitude). I forgot what they were.

Our first swim meet was a lot of fun and everyone liked getting ribbons. Cami's Daisy troop decided to go to Build a Bear for their end of the year party. I interpreted in a class at MCC for a teacher that is an actor at the Hale Theater in Gilbert. I had never been to that theater before but had heard wonderful things about it. I got tickets for our family and crossed my fingers that the show would be good and my children would be better. Aren't my girls beautiful? An old fashioned sled full of gifts.

Not Just Another Pair of Hands. Friday, January 15, 2010. Cami Turns 7. What? For Cami's 7th birthday party we decided on a pinwheel theme. We made the invitations ourselves and she hand delivered them to her friends. One of Cami's birthday wishes was to have breakfast in bed. Another wish was for a shiny new bike. We reserved a ramada at Tumbleweed park and started setting up for the party. We had food from Jersey Mikes, a popcorn machine and pinwheels hanging from the ceiling. There were lots of friends.
