Our Fantastic Family Journey. Sunday, May 31, 2009. We stayed in as long as we could, then went down to the park. Victoria had been asking to fly a kite for some time.unfortunately, there was only a faint wind. Much to our delight, the kite was super light, so it caught a little air and she really enjoyed it. Tori has been home for 2 and a half months now and continues to learn and grow in every way.well almost. I weighed her yesterday and much to my dismay she weighs the same as see did with her first Dr. visit.a whopping 22 pounds! I do wish she would have gained some weight by now. I am feeding her I promise =). It was absolute fun! The ladies absolutely enjoyed her!

I walked her to a teacher to hand her off because she would cry, yes for four weeks. He really had such a great time and came home exhausted. I know this for sure because when he is over-tired he walks, talks, and does very strange things in his sleep! It seems like it has been forever….I know, I know! Thinking back to the beginning, when I first brought Tori home, I do think in some ways I was her trauma. The transition was difficult at times for her and rightly so! I remember the drive home that night, to our house. She screamed and cried the entire way, all 50 minutes of the drive!
