Lexy and her mom Tracci bravely try a dish that is new to them, Spanish paella. Melanie and Dylan are all smiles as we travel to Spain. Our "Grant" Adventure to Europe. Monday, July 6, 2015. We Are Now in Italy! We had to bid "adieu" to France and drive to Italy today. Our first stop was Pisa. I knew about the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa but the cathedral and bell tower are equally as impressive. After seeing the sites we stopped for some lunch and then returned to the bus so we could drive to the charming spa town of Montecatini. Congratulations to our FATT PIG award winner, Walt Lupeika. Our "Grant" Adventure to Europe. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. We started out the day with a guided tour by a professional guide named Estrella (her name means "Star" in English. The charter bus took us to Montjuic. And several others sites in the area. We then enjoyed lunch on our own and some free time to peruse one of the many museums or attractions in the area.
