https://ourgrowingfamilyblog.wordpress.com/2016/12/10/things-i-didnt-expect
A journey of adoption and faith. Things I Didn’t Expect. December 10, 2016. An extreme outpouring of love:. I thought if I didn’t birth a baby I wouldn’t be an emotional wreck. Nope. Not the case. We finally have a girl, and here I was worried that we only had boy clothes. That lasted for about a day. Now we have ALL THE GIRL CLOTHES! I didn’t know that I could love my husband or my sons more. Seeing their outpouring of love for our girl, their protectiveness, consideration, affection, it. You are commen...

A place for our sisters in Christ to find love and encouragement. Building A Community of Sisters. March 11, 2016. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? Have you ever felt the Holy Spirit speaking to you? 8221; I began to ask this question in every area of my life that I...

Our Growing Family | A journey of adoption and faith
A journey of adoption and faith. January 7, 2017. I’m in the in-between. I have a newborn, a daughter, and she is beautiful and precious and perfect and mine. God gave me this little girl and we’ve quickly come to the point that I tend to forget she’s adopted; she’s simply my daughter. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17. Hospital Stays and Grace for Days. Thursday, January 7, 2010. The first thing I've ran out of is Pledge. Since I rarely dust it's probably the first can I ever bought. Just kidding, I don't dust. Infrequently. I've a...

Growing Thin
And So it Begins. December 28, 2009. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. I'm so excited to say that I am finally seeing results! I weighed myself this morning and I was down to 146! I'm trying not to think about how quickly (or slowly) I lose the weight. Also, I decided that weekends are not for calorie counting. I didn't go crazy and I didn't break my candy or soda rules (I did have some delicious cheesefries though! I tried to eat everything in moderation. I even split my cheesesteak with the girls:). So I lost a...
