No more fear of people wandering around our house - now they would have to jump a fence. Wednesday, September 19, 2007. It rained on our parade. Nothing. I drove past after work and all that I could see that had been done was the wooden crossover protector thing. We were very excited to find that all the boxing had been done in preparation for the concrete to be poured. The guys must have worked at it pretty hard to have the whole thing boxed out in one day. For about 1hr this afternoon so it got all wet, but I'm not worried that it will affect the concrete - I just couldn't get a decent pic!

Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Wow, it has been a long time since posting! Well, for those still following, we are still alive! The time has just FLOWN since moving in, yet at the same time it feels like we have been here forever - which is probably a good sign that we have settled in. The inside is complete - or as complete as it's going to get. All boxes are unpacked and everything is put away. The outside is almost the same as the day we moved in! January 7, 2009 at 2:44 AM. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Our sidelights are not currently a highlight. Lets hope the start of '08 brings some speedy (but not shoddy) work on the interior so we can move into our own home! Tuesday, April 29, 2008. We have a moving date! This week we visited Bunnings to obtain a step ladder, light globes and a temporary letterbox until we get around to building the brick one. We also visited a homewares store on the weekend to buy some new small appliances and a matching coffee table to the TV unit we have on order ready to be delivered as soon as we are in. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. She's a brick and it's building slowly. The brickies have finally started! We were phone this morning on the way around to our house (prior to work) when we were notified that the brickies were onsite. Sure enough, 2mins later when we arrived there were 2 guys out the back putting down the first row of bricks!
