Just a sampling of our life in Texas.it is never dull, never the same and full of love and laughter. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. It is December. December 3rd to be exact. Tomorrow will mark the 3 week countdown to Christmas. As I am trying to fill our family calendar with wonderful holiday memories, I am struck with the overwhelming sense of urgency to double and triple check that Ely knows what Christmas is really. So, we will be more intentional each day to bring it all back to Christ. One of THOSE moms.

Thursday, August 30, 2012. Here are just a few pictures on the first official day of Kindergarten! Still can't believe my sweet little girl is here already! Also, I'm thrilled that we've decided for me to stay home completely. A little scary, but I'm going to do my best to cut corners and here and there to save a little. Monday, July 22, 2013. My spunky, full of life, fun to be around, sweet-spirited girl turned 6! So crazy. She turned six and I got a minivan all in about 2 weeks. How did we get here so fast! Where to begin. She is all about getting Heidi to laugh and teach her things (sometimes good, sometimes not so good), she loves to laugh herself, she loves to color and paint and play with barbies, she loves to go swimming and doing anything really.
