Our Japanese Adoption
Saturday, April 21, 2012. Kaito hit another milestone today- -his first bite of solid food. Not sure any of it made it to his stomach but we definitely got a couple spoonfuls of rice into his mouth. The rest got spit out! Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Kaito had a great first Easter. Here he is with his Easter basket before heading to church. He nearly got some of the grass from his basket into his mouth! He's getting quick. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Kaito goes to Asakusa.

Our Japan Trip | Just another WordPress.com weblog
July 2, 2008. Japan Trip Wrap: Back on Home Soil. Filed under: Japan Trip. 8212; Andy Mayer @ 5:44 pm. I do not want to spend any time philosophizing about Japan or its people or its culture. That’s for the professionals to do. I highly recommend it as a place to visit, for those of you that like international travel and exploring different cultures. The cultural aspects really enthuse me. I did a lot of people-watching over the past two weeks. The ubiquitous drink vending machines. I didn’t get up...

Our Jar
My journey making a new friend, my struggle to balance friendship and a brotherly bond. These are my invaluable experiences. This blog is intended to organize my feelings as I begin my friendship with my new little. Who I will call Tommy for the purpose of this blog. My friend gave me a jar to put on my shelf where I could place my most valued ideas. I should just screw off the top and there in I would plop all of my thoughts. They would cascade into this jar of mine, whirling and spinning around. My pan...

Life in the Cookie Jar
Life in the Cookie Jar. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hey, I'm over at Ordinary Lovely this morning! Theresa at Ordinary Lovely. Had the neat idea to run a mini series of guest posts on the theme of how large families are living with contentment in small spaces, and I'm one of her guests! Links to this post. Sunday, August 9, 2015. The house renovations are going well so far. Two projects down and the biggest one to go. Allen made the needed changes in about two (long) evenings' work. The Jarrells
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. PAIL - April Theme Post. I have had this blog for a few years, but never consistently updated it. I really regret not doing so during our infertility journey and first year of our little guys life. I am going to work really hard on keeping this up-to-date. I have joined PAIL, which is a wonderful blogger community for women like me. I am doing my first monthly theme post. I now take all these milestones as recommendations not the law of parenting!
