My Blessed Family: July 2014
http://thefourblevins.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 18, 2014. This summer has been flying by. After the flood a couple of weeks ago, we had about a week of furniture shoved over on the tile with multiple carpet drying fans and a dehumidifier. It seemed to have worked. there no stink yet, so I think we got everything dried out before it could mold/mildew (or it will be good enough until we move.) :). We've had lots of visits from the turkeys. We're having a great summer! Written by A Blessed Wife and Mom. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My Blessed Family: March 2015

Saturday, March 28, 2015. Soccer and Musical Instruments. We had our first soccer game today. They've only had two practices, so I wasn't really expecting much. This kid is a mess. :). He was so hot and tired, but he never complained. I was so proud of him! Written by A Blessed Wife and Mom. Sunday, March 8, 2015. The last couple of weeks. It was my turn to have Reed for kid/parent date night, so I took him to Simply Fondue in Fort Worth. We had the BEST time. Or so I choose to believe. :). Then we order...

My Blessed Family: December 2014
http://thefourblevins.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 1, 2014. Back to the Christmas stuff. Joy showed up this morning and brought our annual North Pole Breakfast! It was quite the spread - powdered donuts, mini chocolate chip muffins, don't holes with sprinkles and a few other little treats. Reed ate a little bit, but went back to bed pretty quick. Hudson really enjoyed his morning though. He played with the stuff that Joy brought and talked about all things Christmas. Happy December - wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!

My Blessed Family: July 2015

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Last Thursday, the 23rd, I was blessed with two new nieces! I was on my way to a dental cleaning and my mom called and said that Becky's water broke and they were on the way to the hospital. She was about 4 1/2 weeks early at this point and was scheduled to have them on the 10th, but when your water breaks, there's no delaying that! So they boys and I ran back home, packed up games and stuff to do and headed to the hospital. Here are the soon-to-be momma and daddy. A Day of Health.

My Blessed Family: November 2014
http://thefourblevins.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2014. In case you wondered, we're still alive and kickin'. :) So here's what we've been up to:. The house is still coming along - slowly, but surely. I try to update weekly here. On Halloween, we did our normal trick or treating, except Reed decided he was too old this year. Hudson dressed up as a character from the Skylanders video game (can't remember the name) and was super excited although nobody really knew who he was. :). Crazy, sweet kids. My Blessed Family: October 2014
http://thefourblevins.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 19, 2014. This past weekend, the boys and took a trip to see my sweet friend Meredith. She and I became fast friends at the beginning of 6th grade and we're very close until she moved away our sophomore year of high school. I was devastated to see her go, but we have kept in touch all these years and I love her dearly! The nav system said it was a 5 1/2 hour drive, so we decided to stop and eat a leisurely lunch. Pei Wei was the pick and Hudson loves his lettuce wraps. Reed hates sleeping...

Monday, February 16, 2015. What we've been up to. He was very pleased with his grade. :). Reed and I went to his first middle school meeting at the end of January. I can't believe this kid is 2/3 of the way through 5th grade. UGH. Man, how it flies. There was the most beautiful sunset the other evening. I took about 30 pictures and they just don't do it justice. It was gorgeous! I went up to the school later that afternoon with cupcakes for his class. This kid was loving' his birthday. Lots has been happ...

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Tonight we went to Reed's music program at school. The theme was science camp. Mrs. Duty always does such a great job with the programs and this was one of my favorites. Reed came out in his lab coat- here is my little cutie with his fake smile plastered on. He is so much like his daddy in this respect- not much of a singer/performer- he'd just rather do something else. :). We had a fun night- so proud of my boy! Written by A Blessed Wife and Mom. Saturday, March 22, 2014. So here's the biggest news in our lives at the moment. we have started building our house! We have been in the planning stages with house plans and such for about 6 months and now we have recently finished dirt work and started the forms for the foundation. I'm going to keep all of the house stuff on our other blog that I started when we moved here, so if you're interested, check it out here. Written by A Blessed Wife and Mom. My Blessed Family: Day 5
http://thefourblevins.blogspot.com/2015/08/day-5.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. We spent today in Pigeon Forge. It is super touristy and garish. The boys loved it. :). Actually, we spent our day at "The Island" which is a collection of shops, restaurants and such off the main drag. A friend of mine had mentioned the Ferris wheel to us, so I knew I wanted to take the boys on it. Each car is enclosed glass and air conditioned. We loved it- the views were spectacular! It was probably a 10 minute ride and so worth it. One of my favorites of the day. We stoppe...
