On Friday, we went to his honors day, where D got certificates for excellence in Bible knowledge and a character award for being "wise and witty.". Sunday, March 30, 2014. So, Monica outdid herself in her gift giving for my birthday this year. At 2:47 pm today, she gave birth to our new beautiful daughter, Rosalie Katelin Ritchie. Rosalie was 6 lbs. and 19 inches. Mom and baby are resting and we are looking forward to introducing Rosalie to all of her new family and friends. Here's a first look at little Rosalie. Monday, February 24, 2014. Dominic soaked in a ton of information at his first Japanese culture and language class offered at our local library on Monday. The teacher was keeping a pace for the adults in the room, but our guy kept up and had even started writing several numbers and letters along the way. D had not been as excited about an upcoming event as he had been for this class in months. The course continues for six weeks, hopefully he will keep up the interest. Saturday, February 01, 2014.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Reading with mom, wrestling with dad. Friday, July 19, 2013. My july (so far). Got my nose all banged up in softball practice. This injury turned into a black eye and swollen nose two days after the picture was taken. George and a snack. the kids watch curious george with Oliver while visiting tricia and megan in asheville. Megans amazing attempt to keep miles from crying while i showered turned into all the boys piling up to watch the solar system song on you tube.

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Dominic's Haircut (Before and After). Dominic has been growing his hair out for about a year. With his upcoming return to CAM this fall, he knew he would need to at least get it cut to above his collar and ears. After dealing with long hair in the summer, Dominic asked if he could get a hair cut early.
