Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Very soon after the last picture on the last post we lost most of snow to wind and rain and have had virtually none since. The snowblower has not been used since January. Quite strange. Before is melted, the kids were really into playing Fox and Geese in the snow. Once the snow melted, we looked out one day and saw this reminder of the fun we had playing. Monday, April 20, 2009. Finally a Spring Post! This was the first time we actually made Easter eggs with them - they really liked all the colored glasses of dye! And this was fun, too. The basket looks kind of empty, but the finished eggs are in there! Here they are - quite fascinating. We took the bikes to Bates Pond just to get out, and Ethan decided to try no training wheels. He did really well, although we still have a ways to go, as you can see. Helpers - really good helpers at that!

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Ethan had a special treat for his birthday this year - Gramma and Grampa, Jeff and Gretchen and their kids came for the weekend! It's been quite awhile since they've been together for a birthday. Ethan wanted a State of Maine cake, complete with Interstate 95 - and he was quite pleased with the results. He got some neat things for both indoors and outdoors. But his favorite was. Everything together. and of course, we must sleep on the top bunk every night!

Friday, June 24, 2011. Dad, mom, heather James, Kyle and I went to West Edmonton Mall on Thursday morning. We spent the night at the Fantasy Land Hotel and drove back home today. It was a lot of fun! Kyle had never been there so we decided to take a short trip, plus it was nice for everyone to be able to get away for a day.
