Tuesday, January 11, 2011. C is for CALEB! My sister Katie, who I introduced all you blog readers to a few weeks ago welcomed her baby boy into the world early this morning! Caleb Josiah was born just before 5:30am Phoenix time and is healthy and, in Katies words "Perfect". We are so excited for Katie and Matt and for Caleb to be a part of our family! I loved this baby a year ago when Katie and Matt decided to start the adoption proc. Ess, and just cannnot express the happiness I felt when I saw his face!

Sunday, October 24, 2010. Pumpkin patch and ZooBoo. We had a great time at CobbRanch pumpkin patch on Friday afternoon. Tara's friend and her mom came along too, so we were just moms and kids. I have to say it is hard to keep track of two kids running in opposite directions. Monday, January 30, 2012. October was a busy month for us. Being the 'room mom' for Tara's class, I collected items to contribute to a basket towards the school silent auction. I did a lot of collecting myself by going to local businesses and asking for donations. Actually I was quite surprised that most of the businesses were happy to donate and some donated a lot! Other donations came from parents in Tara's class. I ended up putting together 2 baskets that were worth approx $200 each!

Saturday, December 11, 2010. Does it get any better than this? After one year of going through all the craziness that is entailed in an adoption process, (check out their journey here. My big sister Katie and her husband Matt announced on Friday that they are expecting (through a wonderful, selfless woman) a baby boy on January the 10th! This baby boy is so lucky to be joining the Fischer family! KAtie and Matt are just going to be the best parents! Me (left) with Katie. Won't she be such a fun momma?

He came highly recommended through online reviews and also my friend Lauren (who also happened to recommend my wonderful OB), and I'm glad I listened. He is so kind and easy going, and he is just exactly what I wanted in my baby's doctor. He weighed 8lbs 14oz! And that's AFTER losing 7oz in the hospital. She went right-in and started playing and yelled bye to me when I said bye - no separation anxiety at all. That's my Tara.
