Life in the May House. Monday, December 19, 2011. Tripoly is a game that has aspects of Michigan rummy, poker, and hearts. While I don't condone gambling for children (ha! This game is a lot of fun and the kids absolutely love it. My mom tried to find Tripoly for the kids for Christmas but didn't have any luck. Friday, August 30, 2013. I am such a dork! The kids are trying to imitate their cousin. ;). I love how tall these guys are. Almost there.I just can't quite reach. Grace and Libby were our guides for the day, so when Grace said, "Let's go see the sheep." I corrected her with, "No, that is a ram." We got over to the sign which read, "Dall Sheep." Mommy was busted! This is John's hand compared to a polar bear paw. :). The polar bear was by far everyone's favorite attraction of the day! It was stinkin' HOT!

Sunday, April 20, 2014. He Arose a Victor from the Dark Domain! We decided that one simple activity we wanted to do with our kids this year was to make resurrection rolls. It is so easy so do and such a lovely picture of the ultimate promise. So momma told them the story while we rolled our marshmallows in our crescent rolls and 13 minutes later we had empty tombs. We have been so busy with so many fun things I'm having a hard time remembering all the way back to the beginning of the month. I'll do my best to try and catch you up. We started the month going to a fun conference for work in North Carolina. We enjoyed looking at the mountains, a little bit of snow, LOTS of laughs, and of course some work :) (but no pictures! Enjoy the pictures, I wish there were more.what can I say, I did my best :) And just a warning, the blogs will probably continue to be sparse...

Sydney took her first "big girl" bath tonight. She absolutely LOVED it and had a ball splashing it up. Sorry for the short clip.tried to clip the part of the video that was "internet appropriate" :).
