Thursday, May 20, 2010. Tonight was an Art Gala for the JK class at Jack's school. It was amazing. His classroom was transformed to display the children's works of art. They spent many weeks studying the works of Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Giacometti, Mary Cassatt, Jacob Lawerence, Michelangelo, Calder and Edgar Degas. August 10, 2011. Yet another catch up.lets start with Graci's birthday party. So I finally figured out how to get pictures from my new camera to the computer so here is a months worth of events. We celebrated Graci's 8th birthday on July 7th with a small good ole slumber party, the girls painted their own tote bags, ate pizza and cake and then disappeared for a long night of chatting, singing and dancing! September 29, 2009. I am a couple games behind, but here are some of Graci's soccer pictures. She is loving playing, she seems to get hurt a lot but unfortunately that runs in her genes and coordination doesn't. Despite all that she is a pretty good player, she runs hard and is catching on that herd ball gets here nowhere but knocked over and kicked. Jason and I were able to get away for a couple of days to St. Charles. We weren’t far from home, but we had a wonderful time together. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around Old St. Charles just moving however slow or fast we wanted. It was fabulous! My favorite shop was Picasso’s Coffee Shop. The Almond Joy Frap was the best ever! It’s a good thing we went for a run that morning! We spent some time down by the river. The evening was beautiful! Kisses make every evening beautiful! Hershey, Pennsylvania is the cutest town in the US. The street lamps have Hershey Kisses on the top and the town smells like chocolate. Oh, my goodness! For a chocolate lover like me, this is the place to see! We toured the place and then chocolate shakes for all!
