Monday, July 6, 2015. The best purchase Lance and I have ever made for our backyard has to be this above ground pool. It isn't huge or really tall but it has lasted us three years now and the kids spend A LOT of time in it with and without their friends. We have figured out how to do the chemicals and keep it clean and it is so worth all the work. We all got real cowboy hats this year. Don't we look hunky dory? Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Hannah and Kynlee hanging out, being silly at the store while me and Missy shopped. Hannah LOVES Regann and Kynlee - they really are like sisters to her. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Random happenings in July and August. Here's a bunch of stuff that I want to remember but didn't warrant it's own blog post. JJ was excited for his first experience doing baptisms for the dead at the Timpanogos Temple. He really enjoyed being of service to those who have gone before. Saturday, January 31, 2015. We have had such a mild winter here in Utah this year that it hardly seems like winter at all. We took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather (cause we all know I HATE being cold and in snow) and went up to see the lights at Temple Square. We haven't been since Asher was still in a stroller (ya me and the hating snow thing . . . pretty sad huh? We drove to the Sugarhouse (? I know he's just a dumb dog but I think it is kinda cute when his tounge is sticking out like that.

Monday, July 28, 2014. Thursday, July 24, 2014. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Lehi city fire department puts on "Foam Day" every year in July. The section off parts of the sports complex grassy fields and spray down a layer of fire retardant foam. We came the first year they did it and there weren't too many people - it sure has changed! Saturday, May 31, 2014. JJ 2013-2014 School Year. The first day of 6th grade! Hanging out with mom on a rainy cold recess. Another great soccer year with the same team he has been on for the last few years. Coach Nicholson is great and JJ has lots of good friends on the team. Saturday, February 1, 2014. February is a short month but we really packed it with lots of activities. Chrissy Felt and Carter put on a bit of a skit to show the kids how to do some of the dances. This is me trying to force JJ to dance with me. Ya that didn't happen. But his friend Oakley asked me to dance. (I must say that it was SUPER awkward! This is how JJ spent much of the dance. Missy trying to rally the troops and make the kids laugh! Chicken dance, woot woot! The scissors unleash his inner ninja?

Sunday, April 5, 2015. I caught this sweet moment while we were visiting the grands. Grandma probably wouldn't be happy that I am posting this but I think she is beautiful no matter what and I love this moment between her and Hannah. Hannah was teaching Grandma Carolyn how to do "cat's cradle". It took several tries but eventually, with Hannah's patient instruction Grandma figured it out. Hannah's class valentines this year. . . . Asher likes these cool socks he got at the BYU basketball game with Dad.
