Monday, October 10, 2011. Language : What's Missing Game? The kids enjoy playing the game so much, I played with L for about 45 minutes, then Bug joined us, it was so fun! Can they guess what you removed? Try it again giving the subjects more time to view all the items. Try it with less time. Try it with more objects on the tray. Try it with fewer objects, but have your subject identify the missing object feeling the remaining objects without seeing them. Try it again, but this time remove 3-4 objects.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Bug ask me today if she could play with the sand tray and the sandpaper letters. I let her explore how far she could go and I was amazed by her results. She traced the sandpaper letter first (she sense the rough surface in her fingertips) then she trace it on the sand. Great job Bug! She was so proud of her self. Labels: preparation for language. The vowels are mounted on a pale blue card and the consonants on a pale pink background. The letters are mounted with sufficient space on either side to hold them steady.
