Monday, March 10, 2014. Usually when you have a really big announcement you want to tell everyone personally. But, I think I'm running out of time so I'm just going to throw it out there for everyone.Here goes. Chris recently accepted a job as senior pastor at Stanton Christian Church in Stanton, Kentucky. Monday, February 24, 2014. To the dry cleaners. In all honesty, I haven't been to the dry cleaners in a while. I really don't buy a lot of clothes that need dry cleaned. Kind-of a policy for me. Laundry is a bit overwhelming for a family of six, so why complicate it? Chris and I are very casual people. But somehow, in God's sense of humor, he gave us a little boy who currently LOVES suits. He absolutely adores the attention he gets at church from everyone who compliments him. Such a ham! A Day in the Life.

Saturday, April 26, 2014. A few lessons learned while hiking with our kids. Today we checked out Rock Bridge Trail with the kids and along the way, we learned a few important lessons. First, Isabella learned when you have to potty off-trail, do not keep your hoodie tied to your waist or you will, in fact, potty all over your hoodie. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Row, Row, Row Your Boat! Last weekend we took the kids to a nearby lake to check out kayaking. It has quickly become Chris' new obsession. He's already imagining us travelling down the road pulling a trailer with 6 kayaks. Not the cheapest hobby to get in to. But man, it was so much fun! We rented 3 kayaks and a canoe because there's no way we would put Sam alone in his own boat! Checking out the kayaks! Anna - in a blue kayak of course! Sam decided to lay back and relax!

Saturday, October 9, 2010. I got lucky the day I decided to take a picture of him coming out of school, because he happened to be line leader that day. As excited as he is for school, he seems just as excited to see me! It melts my heart a little! He always has something "cool" or "great" to show me , but this is the only time he has asked me for tape to hang a project on the wall. Of course, it is a train! When I asked him to get his train picture, he thought he needed the picture of his train set!

Monday, December 14, 2009. We have been doing lots of preparing for Christmas. Besides our Advent wreath and countdown, we have been busy with the parade. Waiting for the parade to start. Still waiting.but we're not cold! I was a little unsure at first.". I wasn't scared at all! This jolly old man gave me a whole stocking filled with candy! We can't wait for Christmas. This year Mom and Dad let us help put up the Christmas tree, instead of waiting until we were in bed to do it. Fun at the Farm.

Saturday, September 11, 2010. A Little (and Big) Boy's Heaven on Earth. A week ago we were invited to spend the day at one of my friends In-laws. She described it to me, saying that they live on Shoal Creek and that he collects fire engines and airplanes. I knew Adam had been out of town most of the week and would be exhausted, but I convinced him that it would be worth it to go. It was! And we all had a great time! Thank you, Burnett Family! The water was cold but it didn't stop them from playing in it.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Dominic's First Day of Preschool. Today was Dominic's first day of preschool at St. Patrick's Catholic School in Parsons. He was so excited and a little nervous.
