Our New Adventure in Oz. On November 12, 2012. Posted in: Life's changes. My family and I are rapidly approaching one year of living in Australia. To celebrate this, I thought I would share a few lessons we have learned about life here over the past year. Some of these are serious and some are a bit tongue in cheek. So, here is my list of Top Ten Lessons Learned:. But the spiders are all poisonous and there are crocodiles and dingoes! 8 There are crocodiles and dingoes, but not in this part of the country.

Our New Adventure in Oz. A Little Morning Exercise. On September 5, 2013. We live near a great walking/jogging trail called the Green Belt. It’s paved with a fine packed gravel so it’s easier on the old joints than the pavement. Plus, sections are planted with native plants so it has quite a bit of shade in the warmer weather.
