May 11, 2012. Summer finally has arrived. Something new for us.we make tents in our livingroom! Lysa decided she would play by pulling all her stuffed animals out! Our view from our livingroom window. Schoellang with the little church. Checking on the chickens and the eggs. We walked to this place one afternoon. Love that single tree. In the morning it was a bit chilly. A little rest. Lysa had to quit walking. We love this snow Mom! Avalanches must have been pretty bad. SNOW was still plenty around.

May 11, 2012. And another Mothers day. Means I think back of all those Mothers Days I wanted to be a Mom so badly but my lap was empty. No kiddos to sit on my lap, to hang out with, to walk with to love on, to pass on. Feb 13, 2013. You are my very, very best Mom,. Is a sentence which was uttered first by my youngest one towards me. I love it! First time I heard it I almost interrupted her and wanted to say no, no. I am not a great Mom! But I stopped myself. Endearments like these need to be accepted, and seen for what they are, an emotional outlet of love! This wasn't about facts at all. There are plenty of moments I get to hear the total opposite but hey, I take it when I can get it. :-). Cannot say it often enough.

Friday, February 14, 2014. I haven't blogged in almost a year! Having Tejay has been one of the greatest seasons of happiness and also the busiest! Between c-section recovery, figuring out parental basics, learning how to become a working mom, and having 12 visits with family and friends in town on top of a few trips of our own, I'm just now getting back into the swing of things! They are the weakest prescription you can get and I got them when I was in grad school and reading tons. Anyhow, I've been working about 12-14 hour days for the past couple days. Today, my eyes are strained big time. So out came the glasses! I partly pulled them out to show Kelly since he just got a prescription for reading glasses. (I can't wait to see what he picked.).
