Welcome to our old house. This is a Victorian style farmhouse that was build in 1834. The house originally was a duplex, constructed for use by workers on the farm land. Over the years the house was converted to a single family, however still retains some of the unique characteristics such as duplicate entry doors, staircases and chimneys. For our family and friend who would like to see our house and the process of fixing it up. Friday, July 27, 2012. This closet had old wire shelving in it. Whoever put it in did not use a stud anywhere. It was hard to fill all the drywall anchor holes they made. Amelia held the breaking brittle plastic together with rubber bands.
