Wednesday, August 22, 2012. I'm having a really rough emotional day today. I'm having a hard time not thinking about what I "should" be doing. I should be playing with my kids.not sitting on the couch while they're at grandma's. I should be school shopping for Julianna.not getting blood transfusions just so I have enough energy to walk across the room. I should be grocery shopping and canning the veggies in our very neglected garden.not letting Joe shop and letting veggies go to waste. Links to this post.

Friday, May 4, 2012. These days I love to share my little triumphs. Here's a few of the latest (if you haven't heard about them yet). The last 2 rounds of chemo have been accompanied by dramatically lessened side effects. I didn't take a single anti-nausea pill after this past Monday's treatment! This definitley makes me dread each treatment less :o). Until recently, if I got on the floor I literally had to have someone pick me up. I will still be under Dr Z's care and will have to come back to Texas every 4 weeks or so for scans and a check-up, but will spend most of my time at HOME! I am incredibly excited about that! This is Will's favorite thing to wear.rubber fire boots, goggles and his Bobcat hat.it's his "football guy" outfit. Will has also become quite the colorer. He will literally spend hours coloring. Flying by the seat of my pants recipe night. 2 packages of Oscar Meyer sliced ready cooked chicken breast in Southwest flavor chopped or hand shredded to smaller pieces (I found these in the meat dept at Walmart). 2 bags of boil in the bag brown rice. 1 can of fat free low sodium cream of mushroom soup. 2 1/2 cups of milk. 1/8 cup of heavy cream (sub with milk and an tbls of butter if desired). 5 slices American cheese. 1 cup shredded cheddar. 1 bag of frozen broccoli. Skillet Fried Meatloaf Not your mother's Meatloaf (well it is my moms). 1 pound ground beef. 3/4 cup of bread crumbs. 2 tbsp worstishire sauce. 1 tbsp Mrs Dash garlic and herb or onion and herb.
