Miss Edith Morgans diaries. Miss Edith Morgans diaries. The diary is a record of daily life in the 1900s when the only news was by word of mouth, letters or newspapers. We are publishing her diaries week by week. Edith Morgan was born in 1865 to Robert and Louisa Morgan. She had two brothers Robert and Fred and two sisters Florence and Lillian. Edith lived in Oxhey village for most of her life, mainly in the Villiers and Paddock Roads area. Edith Morgan 1865 to 1956. Available from April 2012.

Watfords own cycling club. I joined Watford Roads in about 1963 and left about 1966 - they were good times. Established club members included Pat Webb, Jim Shields, Derek Bettles, Bob Brambly and Jim Rose. Ex Clarendon members and non members include Bob Freeman, Ron Osborne, Alan Leer, Gilbert Lakey, Jim Palgrave and myself. Its good to say that we and others from Clarendon are still in contact today.
