The school holidays have arrived and Tony had a week off so booked a last minute (very) deal to Hervey Bay, three nights for the price of two, and a whale watching trip thrown in. Bargain…. So we did the walk to the end…like you do. Now the pier is used as a fishing spot with an annual fishing competition in September, and has spectacular sunsets along the coast. A lot packed into a small space!
