Thursday, March 14, 2013. Last Friday, just 2 days after Emily had her cast put on, my mom and I were back at CCHMC with Emily for a full brain/full spine MRI under general anesthesia again. The whole MRI took every bit of 2 hours. She was a little bit more relaxed this time when receiving her anesthesia and woke up less upset then the first time. Everything seemed to take longer then the first go around. I sat in the waiting room at the edge of my seat full of anxiety waiting for Dr. Sturm to call us back.
