We caught a bus south to the University of Chicago - well, more a bus to where the UC is. We were working from a basic map and after disembarking thought we were lost, but soon realised we were on Midway Plaisance, mentioned in the guidebook as being worth walking along. Friday 9th July - Stewart, Universal Studios. Stewart came through LA on his way from Florida to Australia - he had a 12 hour or so stop-over in LA, and so Jo picked him up from the airport and they braved the 405 traffic to go to Universal Studios in Hollywood. Whilst there, Stewart went on the newest ride - "Revenge Of The Mummy, The Ride", "Jurrasic Park", and "Back to the Future". Jo joined him on the other rides and shows, including "Backlot Studio Tour, "Shrek-4D", and "Waterworld".
