Monday, October 25, 2010. The celebration continued at the day spa where the girls received chocolate manicures and pedicures. Like any normal little girl, Nicole selected a pink polish with a cute name (I apologize for not remembering the exact name). However, Aly selected a red polished called Art of Seduction. Saturday, September 5, 2009. Alyssa's First Soccer Practice. Alyssa is finally playing sports! Cheryl has been doing a great job with Alyssa on teaching her how to read. She has been working on the phonics with her by using flash cards, sight words, books and educational web sites. Aly seems to be picking it up so far. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Josh's 2nd Birthday Party. In December of last year, our big boy turned the BIG 2! He has been such a good boy the past 2 years. He always has a smile on face and is very loving. He may be a little reluctant at first, but warms up to people immediately. It's been a joy to see him grow and admire his big sister. Saturday, February 20, 2010. San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Back in 2008, Cheryl and I decided to train for the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. We did our own training program and actually did really well. The new year rolls around and Cheryl blind sides me. She tells me that we should run the Full Marathon in 2009. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. If you're driving the wonderful Texas highways during the Spring, you will see random cars pulled over in random spots. These people risk their lives to get the perfect Bluebonnet pictures. I always wondered why they would such a dumb thing. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. San Antonio Zoo in the Fall. Since Cheryl has a wonderful work schedule, she's able to do different activities with the kids during the week. She purchased an annual Zoo pass again this season. It seems like this is the kids' favorite place to hang out. I was able to tag along on this visit. We had just bought our new camera, so I wanted to take some random pictures of this kids and the animals. She was excited to receive her. See, no coaches shorts! Sweet taste of SUCCESS!
