A working mom, a nerdy cyclist, their. Three kids and a pet garden. It has been a busy winter for us with soccer games, baseball practice, and bike races. Soccer is finishing up as baseball games start and we will soon have weekend ballet rehearsal for her Spring Recital. She convinced her Dad to sign her up by agreeing to drop swimming from her agenda (poor third kid totally gets that we have to limit each kid). She has really enjoyed her time especially because one of her classmates is on her team - and he happens to be a pretty impressive four-year-old soccer player. That wall is next to New Kid's bed. And the light went up today. It has been planned for some time but it not being hung was not a product of my procrastination. We had a lot of rain this year and spent two days in "town" entertaining ourselves with whiffle ball games. Above is the pregame line up. We have been doing Starfall 3 days a week for 10-15 minutes at a time and he is reading short /a/ and short /e/ books with mostly CVC words and sight reading some of the others. but he is doing it! I know the beach is normally hot, but this week was so warm that we didn't last at he actual beach very long before heading to the pools. Even the evenings were so hot it was hard to be outside.
