Our Small Farm - The Best Homegrown Apples in Gloucestershire
Ours is a small orchard of traditional apple trees in the Severn Vale of Gloucestershire, one of the major fruit growing counties. We are slowly restoring the orchard which has been derelict for a quarter of a century and we now manage the trees and the ground on which they stand in an organic, wildlife friendly way. Planted in 1921 there are some 80 trees from which we produce our own pure juice. Where to buy our juice locally? A list of local suppliers. What events are coming up? How can I get involved.

Our Smallholding
Sustainable Self-sufficiency – An Aspiration. To become self-sufficient and for that self-sufficiency to be sustainable will involve a wide variety of plants. Eating habits may be adjusted, cooking styles may need to be augmented. We have a lot of learning to do in this area, and are likely to make quite a few mistakes, but we are fully committed to creating a space that will be self-sustaining, will feed us as nature intended and will somehow restore a natural balance on Our Smallholding.
