While everyone in Utah was bracing for the winter storm, we went to Phoenix where the weather was beautiful and we were able to visit with Heidi and Jared. Rhett flew in from California to be with us as well. We had a wonderful time playing games, watching movies, going for beautiful walks, shopping, and just loving being with our darling grandkids, Marley and Jake. Tara Took Ryan Kern to Sadies this year. Tara , Ryan, Kelsey, Mitch, David, Ashley.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Our girls had an amazing soccer season this year. Tara had a amazing season, with 9 shutouts. She worked hard and gave her all. she was chosen second year in a row for first team All-State. several newspapers were quoted as saying Tara was the best goalie in the state in any division. She had many wounds after games, this one swelled a lot and looked really bad for several days. Ouch! Our Lady Red's won Region, for the first time in CHS girls soccer history. Ready for the game.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Basketball season, Tara averaged the most points each game, most steals, rebounds, and best percentage for free throws. In a very sad and heartbreaking game they lost in their play in game to State. against Judge. They and Snow Canyon were the two top teams. Snow Canyon took State. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. One our favorite things to do each summer, is to spend time at lake powell. We love it so much! The beauty, the times with family and friends, all the laughter, games, water sports, sight seeing, lots of great food. In this picture, Chad and Jaxon are enjoying the water. Rhett, with friends,Brian, and Ben. When Rhett was walking from the parking lot to the boat, his flip flop broke. it was extremely hot! We called his feet pillow feet.
