Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Sharing an Emme Commission. My customer had a specific style of Ball Room Dance gown in mind for a friend's Christmas gift. This is my interpretation of her vision. Click the photos for a larger view*. The skirt is double layers of chiffon and used a hemming method new to me called 'hooping'. Thursday, September 19, 2013. Nikki Britt Studios and MDCC (Modern Doll Collectors Convention). I was contacted by Nikki Britt and asked if I would create outfits to fit a new doll she was debuting at this years MDCC (September 11-14). I was very honored and excited to be considered to sew for Autumn Brook, the doll Nikki was debuting! Autumn is a tiny BJD (ball jointed doll) approximately 8" tall. In fact, in her first two photos she was wearing a Little Fee dress as a top, that wouldn't even close up in the back!
