http://theties.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-mom-and-her-boys.html
A mom and her boys. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Teacher/Coach/Youth Minister.you name it, he does it. But most of all, Terrance is a God-fearing man, a wonderful father, and husband and he is blessed with the patience of Job which is how he survives being the leader of our circus. He is the most strong willed of the two. I call him my middle linebacker! Did I do that? Never have I ever. Random acts of kindness. I'm an Organizing Junkie. Sweet as ‘Candy’. Makes Me Wanna Holler. A New Pair of Boots.

Surviving Parenthood One Sleepless Night at a Time: November 2013
http://nurse-wendy.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 18, 2013. We made our annual trip to the Fair in October. We look forward to it every year. This year we picked the worst weather day to go. It was cold and rainy. Really rainy. But, we pushed through and still had a lot of fun. Caleb is slightly obsessed with Big Tex. We were so sad to hear about Big Tex burning last year. Caleb was excited to see the new Big Tex. I was a little disappointed with him. His boots are ginormous and make his legs look stumpy. Haha, I love this pic! There wa...

http://nurse-wendy.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 18, 2014. As you saw from the previous post, Caleb's birthday kind of got squashed due to the ice storm and us getting stuck in Florida. But there was still a cake to be made! He requested an Octonauts cake and by golly he was going to get one! I whipped this one out while he was at school and suprised him when he got home. I invited a few friends over (thank you Summer and Kristy for dropping what you were doing! Well, by the time we checked in and walked to our terminal it got cance...

Surviving Parenthood One Sleepless Night at a Time: July 2015
http://nurse-wendy.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. We took the boys to their first hockey game to see the Dallas Stars. It was a super rainy night and it was super cold inside! I've never been to a hockey game so I didn't realize how cold they keep it in there! As usual, I think Caleb was a little more excited about eating than watching the actual game. And he didn't like the loud noise when they scored a goal. But other than that, a good time was had by all! Rainy picture outside American Airlines Center. Annnnnnd.then I went ...

A Look Into My Life Of Raising Four Rough. Friday, April 25, 2014. We celebrated Gavin's birthday with an arcade party this year. What boy doesn't love endless video games? And more video games! While Pinterest is mostly my creative and crafty friend it is also sometimes my biggest enemy. Case-in-point here when Gavin perused through birthday cake options and decided he had to have. This "supercoolamazingcan'tlivewithoutit snake cake! Next year it'll be a Costco cake! The cake was a hit! Happy mom, happy...

The T.I.E.S. That Bind: Laundry Love
http://theties.blogspot.com/2012/10/laundry-love.html
I was preparing to do laundry while talking on the phone the other day blissfully unaware of my surroundings. I had just removed an armful of laundry from the washer when I opened the dryer door to this:. After I stopped screaming….and picked up the pile of wet clothes that I dropped….and slowed my pulse down to somewhat normal, I realized that this little fella is pretty cute, huh? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). He is the most strong willed of the two. I call him my middle linebacker! The Girl Wh...

The T.I.E.S. That Bind: Grief
http://theties.blogspot.com/2014/02/grief.html
I have never felt sorrow like this before and I have never hurt like this before. It is an emotional pain that hurts physically. I really feel at times like I am trying to breathe under water. I feel as though I have been changed on the inside, never to return to the carefree person I was before. I have had to find a new way of existing. Lamonte is always on my mind or not far from it. Through this journey I have learned several things about grief that I would like to share:. Nobody likes a Debbie Downer...

I Tell You Watts: Flurry of Yarn and Crochet Needles
http://itellyouwatts.blogspot.com/2011/02/flurry-of-yarn-and-crochet-needles.html
Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Flurry of Yarn and Crochet Needles. As promised, I'd like to show some crochet projects :). This is a "newsboy" hat for my friend Christina's little girl, being born in March. I also made some little Mary-Jane booties to match with little black flowers :). This was my first attempt at the newsboy hat. I really like the black sparkly yarn, but the pink yarn was really too big, and so it made this hat a bit large for the precious little girl I made it for. Paige, P-Dub, Paigey:.
