http://www.ourwildontario.ca/supporting/sponsorabird.html

To see our current sponsors, go here: Bird Sponsors. By sponsoring one of our educational birds, you help support that bird's care and role in our educational programs. Money raised through the Sponsor-a-bird program goes directly towards:. Husbandry supplies - food, perching materials, training tools, enrichment items. Veterinary care - checkups, procedures and medications when necessary. Falconry equipment - gloves, swivels, leashes, jesses. So how does it work? There are just three simple steps:.

Wild Ontario - Donations

http://www.ourwildontario.ca/supporting/donations.html

The generosity of others has always played a major role in supporting our program, and we are always extremely grateful to accept donations in any amount. There is no minimum donation, and every dollar goes directly towards supporting our current projects and goals. Donations help to keep the cost of our programs low, and help us to provide subsidized programs to groups who need it. Charitable receipts are issued for all donations. In the ' Area for Gift. Wild Ontario - Our Birds

http://www.ourwildontario.ca/ourteam/birds.html

Our Staff and Faculty. Our program began with a one-winged vulture named Socrates. And our non-releasable birds are still the focus today. These animals come to us because of run-ins with people, which leave them unable to survive in the wild. They act as ambassadors for their species: engaging audiences, providing a springboard for education, and encouraging interest in conservation and stewardship. Click their pictures below for more information and photos. Tweets by @Wild Ontario.

Wild Ontario - Our Team

http://www.ourwildontario.ca/ourteam.html

Our Staff and Faculty. We are currently accepting volunteer applications for Fall 2016! We work with two remarkable teams at Wild Ontario: human and non-human. Without either, we couldn't exist! Our birds arrive at our program as a result of a negative interaction with humans, and with us they serve the important purpose of educating and exciting people about nature and conservation. And our people? Tweets by @Wild Ontario.

Kyle Horner - About Me

http://www.kylehorner.com/about.html

When I headed off to the University of Guelph I met some crazy birders, and was introduced to a world I didn't even know existed. I was hooked! Many a weekend was spent running about the province, following reports and searching for rarities. At the same time, I met a number of people deeply involved in reptiles and amphibians (herps, to those in the know! And a tour guide for Eagle Eye Tours. Our Wild Memories | Live the life, enjoy the moment

Live the life, enjoy the moment. December 15, 2015. Bull; 0 Comments. We were travelling for a while, following the signs at a hectic pace. The desert was our first stop, carried by the chords of a guitar, William Blake and the wish of finding answers. The desert told me some things, with no need of asking, and that took us to our second destination. The house of an artist, who I admired since I was a kid, a triangle, a tarot deck and lost landscapes. The most common fear. November 4, 2015. I want to mov...

Everyday Adventures in our Life...

Everyday Adventures in our Life…. July 27, 2008. Hmmm…. One more piece to the puzzle. We will see how that all plays out over the next few weeks. Another time there were the hours upon hours of Lynyrd Skynyrd to which we were forcibly subjected. Ugh. So it could have been worse. I thought I’d share the camping highlights:. Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Evie- 3 years old ( 3 months). Evie has been 3 for a whole three months now. We had a few horrible weeks of tantrums, screaming, fits and all sorts of chagllenges from her in January that had me panicked about what was to come during her third year of life. It seems to be getting better now, and honestly, most days she is quite pleasant. What's her name, mommy? Why, why, why, why? It has definitely been a test of patience for me. Evie loves to learn.
