An eventful 24 hours on the Lakeland Fells supporting Michele in her successful JNLC. Arriving at Dunmail Raise for support changeover. Looking strong at Dunmail Raise – the halfway point. 24 miles done – 24 to go! No 1 trainer and husband Albert doing what has to be done – change of socks and shoes for next leg. Quick drink and they’re off.

A nice little eight mile run over Winter Hill, the Pike, Two Lads etc in warm conditions if a little overcast. Rain threatened a couple of times, but didn’t amount to much. My attempt to capture what I see when out and about - running, walking and enjoying the outdoors. Sunday, 8 March 2015. Duddon Valley Weekend 7/8 March. A weekend in our club hut in the Duddon Valley with good friends but a poor weather forecast. With winds of 60mph it was no day for the high fells on Saturday. So a walk to the pub in Broughton Mills six miles up the valley made a pleasant outing especially as we didn’t see any rain although at times the winds almost knocked us off our feet.
