Monday, November 18, 2013. October 4th, Owen had his first surgery. After having 3 ear infections within 2 months, and the anti-biotics having no effect, we decided to have tubes put in his ears. He was so brave! Yes, he did cry at first, but after a little medication to calm him down he was fine. He came through the surgery like a champ! Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Fun @ the Pool! On Jeff's day off we hit the local pool! Owen was not so thrilled the first hour we were there, but the second hour he couldn't get enough of it. Trying to catch it in his mouth! Practicing his swim skills. Hated the slide the first time, but LOVES it now! He wanted to go again and again! Monday, July 22, 2013. We made a stop at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. At the Georgia Dome! Our last night there we had to make a stop at Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles!

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Look how Owen has grown! Owen gets more fun each day! It is so amazing to be able to watch him learn and grow. He is so much fun and we love him so much. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Bear Lake.Once Again! Owen and I enjoyed another fun trip to Bear Lake! We sure missed Daddy though, he was home working hard for us. We love him to pieces for that! Monday, August 27, 2012. Owen hit 8 months on August 23rd! Words can't describe what life with this little boy is like. Everyday is a new adventure for both of us. Friday, November 30, 2012. This year we spent Thanksgiving in St. George with the Rocks. We followed a fun Rock Family tradition that happens every couple of years, Chuck-a-Rama! Jeff headed out at 8:30 to get a good spot in line, 2nd guy there! He took his guitar and actually ended up playing for the crowd. His sister-in-law brought her violin and joined in with him. They even had people give them money! The food was great, but the best part was no cooking and no cleanup! Owen loves mashed potatoes!

Yep, my own two hands (with a little help from Jeff) built this beautiful bench! I made the pillow covers too. Yep, made this too. A pop of color did wonders for our boring beige house. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Someone discovered what a great big canvas the kitchen wall can be. I'm happy to report this did not happen on my watch, or Jeff's. Grandma was babysitting and I guess she got a little distracted. He LOVES to drive the car! Still loves bath time. He likes to practice swimming on his tummy and kicking his legs. We discovered Daddy's stash of Hot Wheels cars and he was in heaven! He's played with them everyday since. Someone can now get out of his crib. Aack! Jamie Cooks It Up.
