Ive Been Moody Lately. You Have GOT To Be Kidding. Mon, Jan. 24th, 2005, 12:30 pm. How My Weekend Went. At any rate, I missed my wine-o seminar. Just to be sure I did spend time on it, I pulled out the books that I ordered about grape growing and took about two hours of notes from reading. I think that I have determined the following:. The area that I will be tackling will be around 30 ft. x 30 ft. I am ordering sixteen vines eight of a red variety and eight of a white. I need to start a compost pile.

The Eye of the Heffalump: Home Sweet Home
http://heffalumpseye.blogspot.com/2007/06/home-sweet-home.html
Friday, June 22, 2007. And now, for the fourth time, we have moved yet again. This time, though, it is for good. We were finally able to purchase a home in the place that we have been calling home for almost a year. It is a feeling of both relief (finally something that is ours) and anxiety (a mortgage that is ours), but mostly, complete and utter bliss. No Was I there to help when a windstorm blew through and landed a tree on the roof? No, that was pre-Jenn. But the peaked ceiling that will challenge ou...

The Eye of the Heffalump: African Dance In Idaho?
http://heffalumpseye.blogspot.com/2006/12/african-dance-in-idaho.html
Friday, December 08, 2006. African Dance In Idaho? I had the pleasure of stopping by Balance Studios last night. Kari was there, but not teaching on this particular evening. Instead, the class that was being held was being led by Daria. What surprised me about this learning experience is that Daria uses the talent of local percussionists during her class. Having the drums there, having Daria's form in on display for inspiration. made me a bit jealous that I didn't have my workout clothes on! Up To Date I...

And why I slipped into an Irish Spring accent just now, I do not know). The Annual Day of American Sloth – well, the “official” annual day of sloth – not like those other days of sloth that Americans so adore,. Is simply the best. I always admired my father’s ability for seeming to be making things up as he goes along. Dad has plenty of tricks up his ...This Th...

The Eye of the Heffalump: Take Me Out To The Ballgame
http://heffalumpseye.blogspot.com/2006/10/take-me-out-to-ballgame.html
Friday, October 27, 2006. Take Me Out To The Ballgame. But this October, despite the lack of warmth, baseball got me. It’s always your favorite team, isn’t it? Suddenly, Oakland was out. The Detroit Tigers – the come from no where team of the entire season – were now poised for a match up with either the Mets or the Cardinals in the World Series of 2006. This changed things for me. Not because I am a fan of Detroit. No. I am a fan of St. Louis. You don’t remember? The fact that “Take Me Out to the ...

The Eye of the Heffalump: Postcard from the Desert
http://heffalumpseye.blogspot.com/2007/03/postcard-from-desert.html
Thursday, March 08, 2007. Postcard from the Desert. My good friend Emily went to Arizona to visit her wintering Minnesota parents in Tucson. She was only there for four days, but managed to not only purchase a postcard for me, but to also write a message and address it to me. Okay, so it took her a plane ride home to drop it in the mail; but still. Arriba ya del caballo, hay que aquantar los respingos. Once mounted on a horse, one must hang on when he bucks. As far as friends go, Emily has stuck by me as...

Ive Been Moody Lately. You Have GOT To Be Kidding. Mon, Jan. 17th, 2005, 02:56 pm. It’s a tough world out there, but I am willing to bet that the below list of occurrences really are not signs of the apocalypse. Instead, let me offer you some comfort in these tumultuous times. S Prince Harry sporting a swastika:. Swastika aside, this is the House of Windsor that we’re talking about. They haven’t exactly been the glowing example of class during their reign. I know that most everyone in. And I do know whic...

Ive Been Moody Lately. You Have GOT To Be Kidding. Thu, Jun. 23rd, 2005, 10:07 am. As most of you know, there are periods of time when I simply ignore this here blog. It’s an inspiration thing, I suppose. So eloquently put it and I am paraphrasing here it’s not really the inspiration that matters most of the time, it’s the perspiration put into the task at hand to bring the inspiration to life. And let me tell ya, we are PERSPIRING TODAY! I am perched here on the 29. So there’s the weather. The best part...
