Love and Cook with Wild Abandon! Monday, June 14, 2010. Romaine and Feta Green Salad. 1 C chopped pecans or walnuts. Saute nuts in butter for 5 min. Don't let butter brown. Then toss nuts in pepper and sugar until coated. 8 oz spinach (can skip and add more romaine). 1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped. 1/4 C dried cranberries. 1/4 lb crumbled feta cheese. Blend - 2 tsp sugar. 1/2 med red onion. 1 C fresh parsley. 1 C canola oil (can use olive). Toss everything together and Yum! 1 C hot water.

Cheese (mozzarella or monterey jack, or any cheese you like). Fruit (apples, bananas, strawberries and grapes are great). Dump cheese soup into a pan. Fill empty can with milk and dump into pan. It is one of our favorites! 2 3/4 c water/ice. 2 stalks celery, chopped in fourths. Spinach, added until mixture reaches 6 cup line (this is when the blender is off. I highly recommend doing less in the beginning like maybe to the 5 cup line or less and just add more fruit). 1/2 tsp. vanilla. 2 large mangoes, peeled and cut away from the pit.

Love and Cook with Wild Abandon! Friday, February 10, 2012. Grandma Pearce's Sugar Cookies. These are SO delicious and soft! Cream together these ingredients:. 2 tsp vanilla (you can be generous). 2 C butter or shortening. 12-14 C flour (Grandma's recipe calls for only 8, but it doesn't seem to be enough.). 1 1/2 T baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp nutmeg (I use 2 tsp. for more flavor). 1 C powdered milk. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. 1 regular size package cream cheese. 1 C sliced almonds.
