Thursday, 26 March 2015. The Great Fire of London. On Thursday 26 March the local fire service came into school to assist the year 1 children to set their houses on fire; this was to help them see how the fire started and how quickly it spread. Wednesday, 20 May 2015. We took part in an African dance workshop! In the Summer Term we have been learning about Nelson Mandela and Africa. We took part in an African Dance workshop and got to perform our dance routine to the rest of the year group! Wednesday, 15 July 2015. Golden ticket day 15/7/15. For all of the children who had achieved 97 % throughout the summer term they received an amazing treat on Wednesday. Firstly we met Millie the dinosaur and then we spent the afternoon on the back grass playing a variety of games such as; archery, snakes and ladders, mini golf and giant jenga!
