Wednesday, January 28, 2009. The last couple of weeks have been jam-packed! Steve and Laura have been helping us get settled here in Queretaro, and we have been also been spending a lot of time with new friends from their university student bible study and the Horizonte church. Check out the pictures of the trip we took with some of our new amigos to the Pena de Bernal. We actually climbed it! Then we ate some gorditas. I hope we don't get gorditos! Friday, July 17, 2009. Our life in Tuxtla Gutierrez has been off to a great start! Lots of friends, fellowship, and being a part of the community. Here we are helping clear the front lawn of Victor and Lety's church - notice there are no familiar gardening tools in sight. Sunday we were invited along with the Youngs to travel 45mins to San Miguel de Allende to have Easter lunch with another IMB family, the Bests.between the Youngs and the Bests we Huffmans felt a little out named! There are millions of butterflies that migrate from the Great Lakes region of the U.S. and Canada to spend the winter in this forest in Mexico!
