Good legislation re dv. March 1st, 2013. On February 28, 2013, the House of Representatives voted to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The reauthorization of VAWA will help to continue to reduce domestic violence, improve how victims of rape are treated, and extend protections to Native American women and members of the LGBT community.
