Tuesday, January 12, 2010. I meant to start this whole "blogging" thing right when we moved from Colorado to North Carolina, and then, like so many other things I have tried to take on, I forgot and moved on. Well, five months later I am taking this project on again, and this time I plan on keeping it up! Here is a quick update on what has been going on with Bryan and me since August. So, we moved in (well, again WE didn't do it, some mover guys did it for us) got somewhat settled in, and then my wonderf...

Sweet and Sour: A hiking we did go
http://sweetandsourwood.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-hiking-we-did-go.html
A hiking we did go. Graydon is in heaven. He spends the first 5 minutes pointing into the wild and telling me, "snakes! Even though we don't see a single one. Then he runs and runs ahead shouting, "DORA! When the bridges start we have to stop at each one and look over the edge to see the water, even though most of them are dry underneath. When we do get to one with water we spend a fair bit of time staring over the edge, until the bugs start nibbling on us and I drag him forward. Posted by Jen and Chris.

Kiwi Cupcakes with Coconut Frosting. Twenty-five years ago today. Something really amazing happened. Years ago the man who now makes me smile. Everyday (even from thousands of miles away), the man who knows all my secrets. The man who supports. All my crazy ideas and dispels. All my crazy fears was born. I am so happy that God. Made this man for me to love. A man who is honorable. A man who keeps me safe. And who puts others first. A man who knows how to laugh. At himself and how to admit. A man who loves.

Grilled Pizza and Homebaked Scones. Likes food. I am not ashamed. Of this fact. Sure, some of us * me. Could stand to lose a few. Pounds but it is not like we are morbidly. Obese or something. As a result of our love. For food we also love to cook. See, you thought. We were just drive-through junkies. When in reality we are wannabe. When Kate and I got down from the cabin. Last week we needed a dinner. Plan A quick trip to the grocery. Store later and we were in the kitchen. I handled the pizza grilling.

Friday, May 7, 2010. We did it, we took a much needed trip to Bellingham. WA for 5 days to get away from it all and just relax. It was beautiful out there. We were right on the water thanks to my Aunt Jeanette letting us stay with her. She has the most amazing view from her back patio of the ocean and the San Juan Islands. Largest in North America we were told) and had lunch at a good Vietnamese Restaurant. And spending time with family we don't get to see often. Of course the good company helped immense...

Orange Juice, Soda Water, Tequila and a lime. In a land we call vacation. This was my drink of choice. When Chris and I were in Jamaica. We have been home. For almost a month now and I have been putting off blogging. About it because that means it is really. Chris and I are generally. Pretty adventurous, we like to go places. And do things all. The time. However, since Chris. Was coming off a deployment. We decided it would be best to do nothing. But sit on a beach. And enjoy each other's company. I made...

Despite the fact that my last post was over a year ago I still have a habit of viewing my life events from an aspect of blogging them. What colorful words could I use to describe how Graydon runs back and forth from one end of the house the the other chasing the dog, squealing and tripping over his own feet? Would that last picture of Eleanor with her entire fist in her mouth be a good one for the blogosphere? Her toys. She has brown hair and blue eyes (what? And though she entered the world at an impres...
