Een blog over reizen dus. Ede helft van de jaren 80 en de vroege jaren 90 van de vorige eeuw ben ik een heel aantal keren naar Griekenland op vakantie geweest. Bijna elk jaar eigenlijk. Ik had niet veel geld dus Italië of Frankrijk was geen optie en Portugal was een beetje tegenvaller en zo kwam ik dus telkens weer in Griekenland terecht. Een blog over reizen dus. Niet zo dus aan de Limburgse grens maar het valt toch genoeg op om de kleine meid te doen vragen wat dit allemaal was. De grens dus. Ik legde uit dat zoiets was zoals we nu nog op de luchthaven zien, waar je je paspoort laat zien aan de politieman. Een blog over reizen dus. Ik ben vandaag jarig en ik ben thuis. Niet alleen thuis in de zin van niet op reis, maar echt thuis in de zin van niet moeten werken. Dat laatste is in zoverre toeval dat ik nooit werk op donderdag en mijn verjaardag om de zoveel jaar op een donderdag valt. Een blog over reizen dus. Ik kom niet van een kampeerfamilie. Eigenlijk had dat wel moeten zijn want langs mijn vaders kant is het een en al padvinderij. Als je mijn grootvader in korte broek wil zien, mijn ooms met grote hoeden, lachende gezichten in de meest onmogelijke situaties, je moet maar een fotoalbum uit de jaren vijftig en je hebt ze. Monday, 5 November 2012. Most tourist spots (Museums, castles and ruins) in Luxembourg are only open from April to October. They have pretty harsh autumn and winter seasons. Wednesday, 28 March 2012. My apologies for the silence. I have been (and still am) recuperating from a recent surgery. Going back to work is still abit heavy but I am getting better and stronger everyday. Spring has sprung and the sun is out in its full glory.
