Saturday, July 12, 2008. July 12, 2008. Today was Emilee's 1st birthday party. We took the kids to my cousin, Rachel's house for the party. They rented a huge water slide there for the kids to play on. The kids loved it and they have the bumps and bruises to prove it. We ate grilled hamburgers, and then cake and homemade ice cream (ummmm.so yummy! Everyone watched as Emilee opened her presents. Emersyn going down the slide. Kadyn loved the slide even though it doesn't look like it! Kenley and her daddy!

Monday, July 7, 2008. July 4, 2008. On July 4th we went to a friend's parents' house and swam in their pool. The children were so excited because it's not very often they get to swim in a big pool like that. We stayed in forever. And only had about 4 drowning episodes between all the kids there. To me, that's good! After swimming we ate ribs, grilled hotdogs, baked beans, and coleslaw. Oh, it was so yummy! Once it was dark enough, we shot off some fireworks!
