For All the Rice in China. Monday, March 11, 2013. Posted by The Rice Family. Make a Girl's Wish Come True. Last week was Girl's Day here in China. The tradition at our university is for girls to write their wish down on a Post It Note and put it on a public board. Then, the boys will have a look and decide if they want to make a girl's wish come true. Common wishes are things like being taken out to a movie or dinner at an upscale venue.
