Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Last night I attended a single mother seminar put on by the organization People Helping People. It was wonderful. They do so much good to help single mothers improve their situations. It's amazing. I decided that I want to volunteer with their organization and see if I can help bring good to other's lives. Thursday, August 21, 2008. We bought a puppy. He is a Shih Tzu and he is so cute. The kids absolutely adore him. Let's just hope they take care of him. He is 5 weeks old right now, so we are borrowing him from his mommy for a few hours a day over the next week. We named him after Chewbacca. (We have several Star Wars fans at our house.) Saturday, July 4, 2009. Happy Fourth of July. We hope that all our family and friends have an enjoyable Fourth of July. We plan to spend the day hanging around the house and then going to watch the fireworks in the evening. Yesterday, I turned 40 years old! Tim took me to Charlie Chow's Dragon Grill for lunch and then later we took the kids to see Ice Age 3. Before the movie started Joey asked me, "Mom, is this really the movie you wanted to see for your birthday? Murray Fun Days 5K run. Spring at the Zoo.

Sunday, November 22, 2009. For our trip to California we bought the City Pass, which included a day at Sea World, 3 day Park hopper tickets at Disneyland and California Adventure, a day at Universal Studios, and a day at San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park (we went to the Zoo). The kids were so excited to spend the day at Sea World. They loved everything about it. I think they especially loved touching the Rays! Sea World is amazing. Playing with the Rays. Monday, May 11, 2009. I slept through Mothers Day! Yesterday, Tim tried to wake me up to go to church but I was so sick I didn't move. My family went to church without me - the sick mama! I was sad that I missed the kids singing their cute Primary songs in sacrament meeting. I heard it was good. We went to my mom's house for dinner. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Halloween is coming.whether you like it or not! Today I realized that Halloween is just a few short days away. None of my kids had their costume ready before tonight. Eeekk! Your guess is as good as mine! I will be posting some pictures in the near future. I am looking forward to the school parade and class parties tomorrow. I am excited that the kids get out of school early! Whatever I feel like at the time. We will also go trick or treating at Tim's work! Not ready for COLD.
