Born in Denver Colorado and have resided there except for between the years of 1967 and 1971. Attended Regis College in Denver from 1957-1961. Degree in Chemistry with minors in Biology, Philosophy and Music. Attended graduate school at The University of Colorado 1961-1965 leading to a doctoral degree. Became interested in art, especially the painting of Jackson Pollack at the age of 10 and began painting but gradually moved to photography in the early 60’s. Married with three children.

During my graduate education in the 1960’s at Colorado University I became interested in photography after visiting Carmel California for the first time. That interest became passion that has persisted to this day. I began showing my work at the Ginny Williams Gallery in Denver in the late 80’s and moved to The Grant Gallery in 1991 and remained there until 1996. Since that time I have been represented by The Robishon Gallery in Denver.

Personality goes a wrong way. Miercuri, 25 aprilie 2012. Puteam sa pun, pentru ca am, o poza idilica cu bunica, o icoana a ei. Insa in mare masura, dupa mintea mea, asta ar fi dezumanizat-o. Des vad si astept oamenii carora le fac poze sa atinga un fel de impasibilitate in fata mea sau a oricui. Nu vreau sa interactionez cu ei, vor avea o legatura numai cu cadrul, cu ce e in jurul lor si nu vad. Pentru ca sunt captivi intre forme ce nu le apartin, singura lor posesie reala e propriul suflet.

Mi-am dat seama ca pentru e perioada incerta de timp m-am scapat din frau, am intrat complet in costumul imblanit si transpirat de calduros al animalului om. Ultimele ramasite din mine le regasesc in fotografiile pe care tot mai rar le-am facut. Salvarea, te-as calca cu salvarea, privind, sa-mi simti pe buze marea. Durere, de placere, ma-mbrac in tacere.

Normal că o dată ce spun că nu ma interesează ceva înseamnă că mă interesează totuși într-atît cît să spun că nu mă interesează. Ceva totuși mă interesează atît de puțin încît să fie aproape ca și cum nu m-ar interesa deloc. In poza asta e David seara, înainte să se culce, după ce a făcut cîteva desene. Mi-a spus un prieten (Dragos) odata, ultima data cand am vorbit cu el, ca n-am nevoie sa fac fotografii, nu-mi trebuie, daca am ajuns undeva o sa tin minte locurile fara sa trebuiasca sa ma uit la o poza. Asta pentru ca trebuia sa ma certe neaparat, nu pentru ca i-ar fi fost frica ca o sa-l depasesc la numarul de poze - el facand mult mai multe ca mine. Pot spune inca multe altele, poate la prima vedere neinsemnate, despre oamenii de langa mine...

Personality goes a wrong way. Miercuri, 8 decembrie 2010. Ma gandesc si pozitiv. Pot spune ca fac asta in general, desi la prima vedere multi ar spune ca nu. Imi place insa sa fac haz de necaz si sa ma plang ca fata mare la prima. degustare. De ceva timp mi-a stat si probabil o sa-mi mai stea pe cap gandul - sub forma relativa de intrebare, ca sunt pesimist. Rolul meu e mic, asta e fotografia care mi-a fost data sau careia i-am fost dat in scurtul timp cat dureaza declansarea. Ma gandesc si pozitiv.

Sunday, October 18, 2009. End of Summer 2009. The end of Summer 2009 flew by.and here we are flying through October. Geesh. :) Sometimes blogging feels like homework so I (Elizabeth) avoid it as long as possible. The pictures are piling up so I figured it was time to get back at it. It was a blast and as always, we didn't want to come home. :) I also included some pics from Papa and Jeremy's triathlon in Austin. Check back soon for pics from our Disney trip! Audrey fell in love with this giant bear!
