It was a busy week, as you can well imagine. We had a lot of last minute preparations that had to be taken care of. Thursday I got a haircut, my mom went for a pedicure,. Last Friday at 6:00 AM I unlocked the main gate at Pelton Park, kicking off the 2015 camping season. The weather was cool and overcast. The campers began arriving at 2:00 PM, fourteen sites were rented. Judy checked to see how many sites we rented last year (10) on opening day so a few more campers showed up this year. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Prices are a little high here. That is to say the least! We went to the grocery store slash hardware store here in South Fork and found the food prices over the top. Gosh if you lived here year around you would have to take out a bank loan for food alone! We know for sure that we will be buying our groceries at Walmart in Alamosa. It is about an hours drive and we figured the difference in price would more than pay for our diesel to go there. Yes prices are hight in the mountains.

Owens On The Go. Saturday, April 30, 2011. From Winter to Summer? So the weather here in Dover has been crazy. We went straight from winter to summer with no spring. This past week the tempature has been in the mid 80's. Crazy! I will say I am enjoying it though. 2 hands and 2 kids make for plenty of work, but it is so fun! Sunday, April 24, 2011. So after 2 1/2 years in Delaware, I finally celebrated my first Easter in Dover! I was reminded again of all Christ did for me as he was cruicifed on the cross.

Even Cooper was enjoying the sunshine,. And warmer weather yesterday. He was happily munching on ice :-). Today was his first grooming appointment. We found a great groomer in Soledad. She has a great set up, and a way with animals. We took him to her earlier in the week,. For a 'meet and greet'. She clipped his nails, and he did fine.
