Saturday, March 27, 2010. Today was Joaquin's third birthday and it was lots of fun. Its amazing to look back over the blog and see how much he's grown, and how much fun we've had, over the last three years. We started the day off with a party at home - the sun came out and everyone went outside in the backyard to enjoy it. Captains of the play structure! Sunday, March 14, 2010. Sorry for the long blogging hiatus - we've been doing some serious nesting around here and haven't managed to pull out the camera very often! We're having the upstairs bathroom remodeled - which will be wonderful, someday soon. Here it is in its previous, functional but not very lovely incarnation. Sunday, February 21, 2010. Joaquin's grandparents came to visit this weekend and the sun shone the whole time. We had lots of fun and got a whole lot done. We spent Saturday morning in downtown Portland checking out tile, books, and public art. We also made several trips to the park. Reading Joaquin's new favorite, "Green Eggs and Ham".
