The random mutterings of a vegetable growing, jam making, fabric loving, dog walking, chicken keeper. Quite happy and content in my little Village in Hampshire. Sunday, November 06, 2011. It has been a rough week and my back is knackered after moving. The day before we left Farm Cottage, we had water dripping through a light fitting in the ceiling! Emergency plumber called - a roof problem not a burst pipe! So excited. It'll look fab and have a small lean to for me to store all their feed/bedding etc.

The random mutterings of a vegetable growing, jam making, fabric loving, dog walking, chicken keeper. Quite happy and content in my little Village in Hampshire. Sunday, March 23, 2014. My, what a lovely clean floor. Hello everyone. Just back from a long walk with Furface and sat here listening to Elaine Pages' annoying laugh on radio 2. It's show tunes hour and I'm loving it! Let me start with the last blog entry's cliff hanger. Plus a pair of shoes that can only be described as something form the set of...

The random mutterings of a vegetable growing, jam making, fabric loving, dog walking, chicken keeper. Quite happy and content in my little Village in Hampshire. Monday, June 28, 2010. Was up at 5am this morning and am now in Milan, in the scorching heat, with my mosquito spray at the ready! The place is full of them. Just another WordPress.com weblog. First attempt at dying yarn! Using koolaid and some help from knitty. I love the colours but cant imagine what I am going to do with the yarn now, I rarely wear anything colourful or pastel so am thinking of adding it to the shop or using it as swaps or gifts. Owl Family Diary: April 2010

Sunday, 25 April 2010. Connie the Conway's Maiden Voyage . Well Connie the Conway turned out far better than I anticipated. Until it went up, I was having nightmares about the canvas being in a terrible state. But it was fine! Two small holes in the roof, but it rained in the night and no leaks (except through a zipper that hadn't been properly covered when we were setting up, so our fault). Wednesday, 21 April 2010. My latest project . Oops, is it really that long since I last blogged? Blushes* Well if ...

Well, we made it. After the doom and gloom of the solar eclipse, when some predicted the end of the world.it turned out to be a slightly cloudy 10 minutes and the world kept on turning. I am relieved as I had a cake in the oven and it would have been a shame to waste the eggs, they are so few and far between. My kitchen ta...
