When are interships available? When can I apply for the internship? When will I know if I have been accepted or not? There are two semesters of internships every year here at the school. One is from the end of June to the end of December, the other is from the end of December to the end of June. Owl Preschool is located in beautiful Hualien City, Taiwan. Hualien is on the east coast of Taiwan. It has all the function of a major city, but keeps the small-town feel. It is bordered by the ocean on one side, and large, green, jungle-covered mountains on the other. The weather stays very temperate here. In the wintertime the temperature rarely gets below 60°F, and in the summertime it rarely passes 95°F. Typhoons are usually lighter here, and the rain is usually fairly light. The School and Interns.

It is a wonder to me how something so little can make me so happy. As soon as i can, i am putting those little babies in the ground [aka pots on my windowsill] and we will have fresh carrots, tomatoes, and peppers! They look great and i want to take pictures of them.but i have no clue where my camera is. my bet is that it's hiding under all the other wedding stuff piled on my desk/bureau/bed/floor. First we went to a lovely temple where we couldn't take pictures inside. or understand the tour. we think that the dalai llamas are buried there, but we still aren't completely sure. Then to a buddha mountain. start taking silly pictures now. Next to a winery, where we drank delicious grape juice and took plenty of stepford wife-esque pictures to match with the immaculate greenery. And then an elephant show! Tuesday, May 26, 2009.
