Boeagle The Arabian Race Horse. Sunday, July 3, 2011. How to draw a horse/standerdbred. When drawing any animal it is detrimental to have at least a simple understanding of their bone structure. In drawing a horse it helps to draw circles and shapes to guide. One for the head, neck, shoulder/chest, belly, hindquarters, knees, hocks, and pasterns. Remember where the bones are as you place the shapes. Once you have drawn the circles you can start fleshing in. Again, keep in mind where the bones are.
